A multinational B2C company has users across corporate offices and factories where users of certain groups of regions were identified as having a tremendously high Virus infection rate. The IT Board Members were concerned about the security of their sensitive data, including customer information. They were looking for a customized data protection solution to prevent data breaches and ensure that their data was secure.
Our cybersecurity team conducted a thorough assessment of the company’s data protection measures, including their policies, procedures, technical controls, and regional attributes to draft the plan to sensitize users. Based on the assessment, we developed a customized data protection strategy that included the implementation of user awareness, port blocking, encrypted External Drives for certain departments, access controls, and data loss prevention technologies.
We ran a program to educate department-wise users about data classification and sorting between personal and official data on office computers to ensure that all staff understood the importance of data protection and their role in maintaining the company’s security posture.
